The new Edgewood Elementary project is officially moving from the drawing board to reality! Following the successful 2025 bond vote, Fruitport Community Schools is hard at work designing a school that’s built for the future.

A Modern Upgrade: Say goodbye to the 1950s-era layout. The new building will feature flexible learning spaces, high-tech classrooms, and plenty of natural light.
Safety by Design: Taking a cue from the new high school, the design includes “best-practice” security features—like curved hallways and secure entryways—to keep students and staff safe.
