The construction of the new Mt. Hope School marks a major milestone for the Lansing School District, symbolizing a “resurgence” for the community. Funded by the 2022 bond initiative, the approximately $30 million project replaced the aging 1940s-era building with a state-of-the-art facility designed to serve approximately 450 students in grades 4–8.

The new 57,290-square-foot building emphasizes a nature-centered design and modern functionality:
